Brits Unite!

tree BY SONIA GATES
I am very proud of my son Joshua Gates (not biased of course!). He embraced his time at Tufts University and Tony was his mentor; that's all I heard. I attended all his plays (of course) and was amazed at the level of the productions that Tony directed. He set my son on course to love the arts and a direction toward acting. I was very touched upon graduation that Tony attended my son's celebration at our home on the north shore of Massachusetts. He made my son's day and delighted my friends! I love his Anglo-ness (not a proper word). I hail from England as well and reveled in the dry English humour we are famous for. Tony was full of drama and underneath had a compassion and real interest in his students. I thank you, Tony, for shaping my son into being a great actor but most importantly, into a great human being. My prayers are with you.
